Bridal Gown Manufacturing in Vietnam for Japanese Brands

Bridal Gown Manufacturing in Vietnam for Japanese Brands

Japan is a core market for WEDDINGBOOK ATELIER, and five of Japan's top ten bridal groups trust us with their production. If you run a bridal brand in Japan and are considering production in Vietnam, this guide explains how we work with Japanese partners, from the first message to shipment.

Quality control built around Japanese standards

Our QC benchmark is set by our Japanese bridal group partners, and Japan QC is applied to every order. For orders we produce for Japanese partners, we manage quality against their own inspection standards.

Communication in Japanese

A member of our team speaks Japanese well and handles Japanese buyers directly, so you can discuss specifications, fittings, and schedules in Japanese. We reply to enquiries within one business day.

How production works

  • Start with your brief. For OEM, send 2D pattern files and design specifications, or a physical sample that we can turn into a pattern. For ODM, send an idea or mood references, and our design team prepares sketches or AI concept visuals for your review. Once the direction is confirmed, we prepare a work order list and move to sampling.
  • Sampling takes about four weeks, and up to eight weeks depending on the fabric, lace, and handwork involved.
  • Production typically takes about 30 days after sample approval.
  • Small runs are welcome. The minimum depends on the style and fabric and typically starts from a few pieces per style.
  • Labels and confidentiality. We provide woven labels, care labels, hang tags, and garment bags under your own brand name, and a standard NDA protects your designs.
  • Shipping. Freight is quoted through our logistics partners. Our standard terms are FOB, and CIF or DDP are available depending on the order. If you have a designated forwarder, we work with them.

Our atelier

Our atelier in Ho Chi Minh City is dedicated entirely to bridal and works with a team of 50 artisans across 2,000 sqm. Sampling, cutting, beading, and finishing all happen in-house. When an order exceeds the capacity of our in-house atelier, we may also work with partner facilities to keep operations and production stable.
